Hand in Hand

I met some friends at the beach last August and before we left I asked them to walk down to the water and told them I would take a photo of them. As they headed toward the water I asked my friend to grab the float that we had been playing on for the last few days. She reached over to grab the float then as she caught up with her husband, he reached over and took her hand. I knew then that I would have to paint this. I started on it soon after returning to my studio, but there is always something that has to be painted so this kept getting set aside. One from my stack of unfinished works finally completed tonight.
